Transformed By The Risen Christ

This past Sunday we studied Acts 9:1-31 together. In the message we looked at how Saul, later named Paul, never moved on from his conversion story. Here is how he reflected on his conversion in 1 Timothy 1:13-16:

“…I was a blasphemer, persecutor and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.”

Keep considering; don’t drift from this! Make time daily for the Gospel to fall on you afresh. Look at it; it’s our story!

Whatever else may be going on in your life right now, or not going on that you want to see, this is going on; “the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.“
