The past four months the Book of Colossians has lifted our eyes to behold the unmatched Christ. Jesus is such a powerful, wise and sovereign Savior. Through this book, God has led us to find our all in Jesus; he's warned us against false teaching and legalistic living, he's encouraged us to put off the old ways of life that don't fit and put on the new ways that do. Lest we, on the one hand forget what we've heard or on the other hand become overwhelmed by it all, let's consider this: what's one bit of truth that we can apply to one bit of life? And may the gospel continue to bear fruit and grow among us at Metro Life Church and throughout the world (Colossians 1:6).
