Two Camps

The past several summers have been a great time fellowshipping together, spending time in God's Word and going all out transforming whatever location we were going to for our teens to have an experience they'll never forget.  As we were praying through plans for this year one thing we considered was how we can best minister to teens based on where they were at in life.  We didn't want to have two totally separate camps but it did seem like it was time to take time with Middle and High Schoolers separately.  So, we looked at a camp for the Middle School that will be something like one part youth retreat, one part local missions trip.  We also wanted our High School students to be able to get away for a true youth camp experience... here's a bit of info on both!

Middle School

Date: June 26, 2017 to June 30, 2017

This coming summer, Alive Middle School is in for a special week on June 26th-30th – a 5-day youth camp planned and designed JUST for our Alive Middle school students! Rather than going away for a youth retreat and separately going off on a missions trip, we're combining the two!

We will meet right here at Metro Life Church for a week filled with time together in fellowship and all of the fun, life changing experiences of a youth camp, along with jumping into how we're called to serve our church, others and our community through service projects throughout the week – all surrounded by your friends and leaders, ready to have an amazing time. High School

Date: July 12, 2017 to July 16, 2017

Location: Ocoee Retreat Center, 86 Hawkins Dr, Ocoee, TN 37361

This year in Alive High School we felt it was time for a change…so, on July 12th–16th we will be loading up our students and heading out together to Ocoee, Tennessee for a 5-day camp to step away from the chaos of life and intentionally seek God, fellowship, build friendships with one another, and go on some incredible adventures!

One Message 

At Alive Camp 2017: ONE, we’ll be honing in on the meaning of Ephesians 4:4-6:

“There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

ONE moment can define history. ONE decision can change a life. ONE person can start a movement. The power of one resounds through Scripture, and at Alive Camp: ONE, our students will study the Word to discover a powerful message that God has for them:

There is ONE God
ONE way to Him
ONE family united under His banner
And ONE mission we've been entrusted with
Alive will encounter the number one truth: There is one God, the creator of the universe and of you and me, and there is no other. And the Bible is 100% clear on the subject: Jesus Himself says no one can come to the one, true God except through Him. And if we come to God through faith in Christ? We’re welcomed into one giant, awesome family of Believers. Want more good news? We’ve been given one main mission: go and make disciples of all nations!
