3 ways to get involved in the Community Funtober Fest

Funtober Front and back BackOver the past several years we have had the oportunity to serve our community outside of the four walls of our church building or the 9 acres of our church property.  Don’t get me wrong; I love inviting guests to our property, I love seeing the field full of people and passers-by seeing life happening together here at the church building… but, I love this community even more.

This year we're building on events we've participated in like last year's Spooktoberfest or this spring's Easter Egg Hunt by joining 6 other local churches and several community organizations to host a Casselberry Community Funtober Fest on Saturday, October 29th from 4p-7p!

We’re going to need your help in multiple areas, more than anything, we’d like to see a strong representation from our church not only in attnedence but serving this event as well.

Here are three quick and easy ways you can do that:

Donate

We're not asking for money, but we sure could use some candy!  We're talking non-chocolate, individually wrapped kinds of candy that we can easily distribute at the games and various cars being hosted at the Trunk-Or-Treat.  Drop off of this candy is super-simple: there are collection bins in our lobby!

Serve

From Hay rides to carnival games, costume contests to food tents there's an area of service for every gifting... check out how easy it is to sign up to serve by clicking here - there are already tons of people pouring in from other churches and organizations, let's show our community that Metro Life Church is here for them!

Host a car in the Trunk-Or-Treat

We've long wanted to host our own Trunk-Or-Treat on our church property, over the past several years this hasn't worked out for one reason or another.  Cool thing is; we're doing one at the Funtober Fest.  You can indicate that you'd like to host a vehicle at the Trunk-Or-Treat simply by filling out our service form.

I hope that helps, if you've got any questions, email myself or my assistant Allison - we look forward to serving our community alongside you at the Funtober Fest!
